DESCRIPTION:
(from Netflix's press release, March 2024) Germany's oldest smart home has stood empty after the owners died under mysterious circumstances over 50 years ago. When Samira and her family move in, the electronic household assistant, Cassandra, awakens from her decades-long slumber. Developed in the 1970s to look after a family and taken out of service after the death of the former occupants, Cassandra now senses a second chance. However, she thinks she is much more than a fairy godmother who fixes everything. Cassandra soon sees herself as an equal member of the family and does everything in her power not to be left alone again - using any means at her disposal. |
