(from Amazon's press release, July 2023) Prime Video today announced the new series Betty la fea based on the critically acclaimed telenovela Yo soy Betty la fea featuring on-screen duet from the original series, Ana María Orozco (Cochina Envidia). and Jorge Enrique Abello (Ana de Nadie). Ugly Betty will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world in 2024. This new series tells the story of the iconic Beatriz Pinzón Solano, Ugly Betty, 20 years after the conclusion of the original series. While the empowered Betty remains married to her husband and company leader, Armando Mendoza, she rebuilds her relationship with her teenage daughter Mila, and tries to cope with the crisis at her family company, wondering if she chose the path that made her 20 years ago. truly happy. |
