SONY CRACKLE RELEASES MIRA SORVINO FIRST-LOOK FROM SEASON THREE OF ORIGINAL DRAMA "STARTUP," ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER 2018 PREMIERE
New York, April 24, 2018 - Sony Crackle today released a first-look at Academy Award-winning actor Mira Sorvino in her new guest starring role in season three of "StartUp." In the network's original drama Sorvino portrays NSA Agent Rebecca Stroud who has come to investigate ArakNet. The series, which is seen in over 21 territories around the globe, recently completed filming in Puerto Rico and the network announced that the show will return November 2018.
In addition to Sorvino, new cast members include Zachary Knighton ("Santa Clarita Diet"), Tyler Labine ("Deadbeat," "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil") and Jason Kravits ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"). Returning in season three are series' stars Adam Brody ("CHiPS," "The League"), Ron Perlman ("Hellboy," "Sons of Anarchy"), Edi Gathegi ("The Blacklist," "The Blacklist: Redemption"), Otmara Marrero ("Graceland") and Addison Timlin ("Californication").
In season three, friends will be fighting it out for power in 10 explosive episodes and will be threatened by what might be the most dangerous criminal organization of all: the U.S. Government.
"StartUp" is produced by Critical Content and Hollywood Gang Productions. Gianni Nunnari, Shannon Gaulding, Tom Forman, Andrew Marcus, Ray Ricord, and Anne Clements all serve as executive producers. The series is created and written by Ben Ketai ("Chosen," "The Forest") who also serves as executive producer and director. Adam Brody, Ron Perlman and Edi Gathegi serve as producers.
