DESCRIPTION: (from TLC's press release, November 2016) Production wrapped this week on new episodes of TLC's first scripted series TOO CLOSE TO HOME, written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry. Filming took place in Atlanta at Tyler Perry Studios located on the former Fort McPherson army base. Eight new episodes of the drama continue to follow the story of Anna, a young woman whose life is turned upside down when her affair with the President of the United States is broadcast worldwide forcing her to return to her modest trailer park beginnings in Alabama. New episodes of TOO CLOSE TO HOME premiere Wednesday, January 4 at 10pm ET/PT. Danielle Savre returns as the lead Anna, while Heather Locklear returns as a guest star playing the role of Katelynn, the first lady. Additional cast members returning to lead roles include Kelly Sullivan (Bonnie), Brock O'Hurn (Brody), Brad Benedict (J.B.), and Brooke Anne Smith (Shelby). Expanding on the cast are new additions in recurring roles: Courtney Burrell (as Nelson), Azur-De (as Regina), Nelson Estevez (as Elm) and Angela Rigsby (as Octavia). James Shanklin (as Eli), KD Aubert (as Tina), and Crystle Stewart (as Frankie). |
