DESCRIPTION: (from Ovation's press release, April 2016) After a successful co-production partnership in 2014, Ovation TV and 3DD Productions have reunited for another season of Raiders for the Lost Art. Season Two will debut on Wednesday, May 11 at 10pm ET and will continue the series' historical tour of some of the world's greatest art crimes and mysteries. Episodes will air back-to-back each Wednesday night for six weeks. Throughout history, some of the world's most amazing works of art have simply disappeared. Through re-enactments, rare archival footage, and expert commentary Raiders of the Lost Art will explore how these treasures were looted, stolen or vanished into archives. Some have been recovered, but many more are still waiting to be found. |
