DESCRIPTION:
(from Disney+'s press release, March 2023) Back to school on Disney+ In this tender and lively romantic comedy, Adèle, creator of a successful podcast, has a mutual crush on Arthur, a mathematician. But as soon as she is in his presence, she is prone to violent panic attacks. She is so capsized that she risks feeling unwell. The diagnosis is beyond doubt: Adèle suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome, a direct consequence of her previous love affair, which ended painfully. Adele then has no choice but to stay away from Arthur. But the pull is too strong... Camélia Jordana ("Things we say, things we do", "Le Brio", "Night come"), will play the character of Adèle in the new IRRESISTIBLE series offered exclusively on Disney+ (6 x 30 minutes). This is the first series for the singer and actress, who will be accompanied on screen by Théo Navarro-Mussy ("Hippocrates"), Corentin Fila ("Mortel"), Simon Ehrlacher ("Plus belle la vie", "The Ghosts"), Salomé Dewaels ("Lost Illusions"), Zoé Schellenberg (My Heroine", "The Last Duel"), Alicia Hava ("Mind"), Estelle Meyer, Zinedine Soualem ("In Body", "The 'Scum of the Days', 'The Diving Bell and the Butterfly'), or even Marion Séclin ('Christmas Flow', Studio Bagel, Golden Mustache...). The IRRESISTIBLE series was imagined and created by Clémence Madeleine-Perdrillat, who notably provided the writing direction for season 2 of the "In Therapy" series. It is directed by Antony Cordier and Laure de Butler. This is the first series produced by Arnaud de Crémiers within Jour Premier Production, a new subsidiary of Gaumont.
