DESCRIPTION: (from Science Channel's press release, June 2017) The Science Channel series that has for more than a decade put the spotlight on how everyday items are manufactured, goes inside U.S. factories to see how some of world's most essential and innovative products are created. The 10 episode HOW IT'S MADE: AMERICAN MADE, premiering Thursday, June 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, will look at a wide variety of products that are produced in America including 3-D printers, NASCAR engines, apple pie, barber poles, and more. In addition, the new season of HOW IT'S MADE premieres on the 22nd at 9:30 p.m. The premiere episode of HOW IT'S MADE: AMERICAN MADE - BASEBALL EDITION puts the focus on America's Pastime, including a wrist watch that contains wood from the original 1923 Yankee Stadium. Also featured are baseball gloves, scoreboards, hot dogs, and baseball bats. This season's episodes of HOW IT'S MADE will look at products including skateboard wheels, bicycles, foosball tables, office chairs and more. |
