DESCRIPTION:
(from Disney+'s press release, March 2023) TOUT VA BIEN immerses us in the daily life of an ordinary family, therefore inevitably neurotic and conflictual, confronted with a tragedy - the serious illness of one of its children - which affects the life of each of its members, in particular two generations of women. A biting and singular tone where the humor remains present despite the drama. TOUT VA BIEN is a "dramedy" in which we can discover Anne (Nicole Garcia), the matriarch of the Vasseur tribe, a successful author of personal development books confronted with a #metoo that affects her publisher and lover. Her husband Pascal (Bernard Le Coq) seeks his place with this woman who takes a lot. Claire (Virginie Efira) very involved and disturbed by the illness of her niece, must also forge links with the daughter of her companion Antonio (Eduardo Noriega) whose ex-wife does not give them gifts. Marion (Sara Giraudeau) tries to keep her family life afloat with Stéphane (Yannik Landrein) and to endure the illness of her daughter Rose (Angèle Romeo) by escaping into a relationship with Louis (Mehdi Nebbou). Or Vincent (Aliocha Schneider), Claire and Marion's brother, an apparently detached steward who is going to take the full force of the reality of life. Written by Camille de Castelnau, co-screenwriter of the series "The office of legends", accompanied by Gaëlle Bellan (The promise, Engrenages, The office of legends), Benjamin Adam (The opera, Paris police 1900) and Christophe Régin ( The penalty area), TOUT VA BIEN is produced by Maui Entertainment, Fédération Entertainment and co-produced by Camille de Castelnau (Petit Ermitage Production). The first two episodes will be directed by Eric Rochant "(The legends office", "Mafiosa", "A world without pity", "The patriots"). The following are directed by Xavier Legrand ("Up to the Guard"), Cathy Verney ("Vernon Subutex") and Audrey Estrougo ("Supremes"). |
