DESCRIPTION: (from NBC's press release) 'CONVICTION' NEWEST LEGAL DRAMA FROM DICK WOLF ('LAW & ORDER') FEATURING YOUNG PROSECUTORS FACED WITH DAUNTING CASES -- This newest legal drama series from Emmy Award winner Dick Wolf ("Law & Order"-brand series) is a fast-paced, character-oriented story focusing on young assistant district attorneys in New York who handle tough, high-profile cases that challenge their experience. Nick Potter (Jordan Bridges) leaves a cushy private firm to join the chaos of the New York District Attorney's office, headed by new bureau chief Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March, reprising her role from "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit"). Their current assignments include prosecuting a drug dealer, while newbie Sara Finn (Julianne Nicholson) frets when she loses key evidence in her own case. But the Assistant D.A.s are shocked when a member of their team is gunned down -- and one of their own might be responsible. Milena Govich, Eric Balfour, J. August Richards and Anson Mount also star. |
