'Nightline' Posts Double-Digit Gains Week to Week Across the Board and Scores Its Most-Watched Telecast in Over 1 Year on Monday, Jan. 13

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (934,000), Adults 25-54 (216,000) and Adults 18-49 (132,000) for the week of Jan. 13, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, beating CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in all key target demos for the 3rd time in the last 4 weeks.

· "Nightline" posted double-digit increases week to week in Total Viewers (+10% - 934,000 vs. 847,000), Adults 25-54 (+18% - 216,000 vs. 183,000) and Adults 18-49 (+20% - 132,000 vs. 110,000). "Nightline" drew its 2nd-largest overall audience of the season, behind only its season premiere week over 3 months ago - since w/o 9/23/24.

· For the 3rd week in a row, "Nightline" improved on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+6% - 934,000 vs. 883,000).

· On Monday (1/13/25), "Nightline" scored its most-watched telecast (1.340 million) in over 1 year - since 1/1/24.

· This week, "Nightline" covered President Biden's farewell address to the nation; the legal drama between actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni; the Alexander brother's bail denial by the judge in their sex-trafficking case; TikTok star Baylen Dupree's experience living with Tourette syndrome; actress Brooke Shields' latest memoir, "Brooke Shields is Not Allowed to Get Old"; Princess Kate of Wales' cancer remission announcement; the guilty plea of the man accused of stalking WNBA star Caitlin Clark; reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag losing their home in Pacific Palisades due to the California wildfires; ABC News Studios' new series "Scam Goddess"; "IMPACT x Nightline"'s episode about the suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer and more.
