During the week of Oct. 2, 2023, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" premiered as the No. 1 late-night talk show among Adults 18-49 (0.19 rating). In fact, "Kimmel" won premiere week in late-night for the 2nd consecutive year in Adults 18-49.
"Kimmel" (0.19 rating) beat the season premiere weeks of CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.16 rating) and NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" (0.16 rating) by 19% each among Adults 18-49.
"Kimmel" built over its year-ago premiere week (w/o 9/19/22) by 8% in Total Viewers (1.59 million vs. 1.48 million) to score its most-watched opening week in 4 years - since 2019.
"Kimmel" also improved over the comparable week last season (w/o 10/3/22) by double digits in both Total Viewers (+18% - 1.59 million vs. 1.35 million) and Adults 18-49 (+19% - 0.19 rating vs. 0.16 rating).
Monday's broadcast of "Kimmel" (on 10/2/23) ranked as the week's No. 1 late-night telecast in Adults 18-49 (0.31 rating).
