For the First Time in 13 Years, '20/20' Out Delivers NBC's 'Dateline' in Total Viewers
'20/20' Beats 'Dateline' in Both Key Adult Measures for the 3rd Consecutive Year
For the 2022-2023 full television season, "20/20" stood as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine and led NBC's "Dateline" in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+214,000 - 3.780 million vs. 3.566 million), Adults 18-49 (+24,000 - 639,000 vs. 615,000), and Adults 25-54 (+21,000 - 924,000 vs. 903,000), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.
In fact, "20/20" outdelivered "Dateline" in Total Viewers for the first time in 13 years since the two programs aired on Fridays during a full television season since the 2009-2010 season. In addition, "20/20" beat "Dateline" in both key Adult measures for the 3rd consecutive year.
