January 10, 2023, NEW YORK -- Fresh on the heels of an outstanding Fourth Quarter, Hallmark Channel continues its winning streak into the New Year, with the Saturday, January 7 premiere of Wedding Veil Expectations - the first installment in Part Two of the Wedding Veil Trilogy movie series - ranking as the most-watched program of the week on entertainment cable. Additionally, the movie elevated Hallmark Channel to be the most watched entertainment cable net of the week in both Total Day and Primetime.
Executive produced and headlined by Lacey Chabert, and co-starring Autumn Reeser, and Alison Sweeney, the latest movies in The Wedding Veil Trilogy series pick up where the stories left off for best friends Avery, Emma and Tracy following their weddings in last year's original installments. Wedding Veil Expectations is followed by next Saturday's premiere of Wedding Veil Inspiration, and the following Saturday's debut of Wedding Veil Journeys.
Kicking off on January 8, 2022, the Wedding Veil Trilogy was an instant sensation, with the debut installment becoming Hallmark Channel's most-watched non-holiday movie in over a decade among Households, Women 18+, and Total Viewers, and second most-watched in network history among Women 18+.
