Monday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Wins Demo Race with "The Bachelor"

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/4/19):

ABC (6.094 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the demo champ on Monday thanks to fresh installments from "The Bachelor" (6.184 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "The Good Doctor" (5.915 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6).

NBC (8.277 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was a close second with originals from "America's Got Talent: The Champions" (9.786 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) and "Manifest" (5.258 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

Next up was CBS (5.779 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with the return of "The Neighborhood" (7.532 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and "Man with a Plan" (6.172 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) followed by new episodes of "Celebrity Big Brother" (4.149 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) and "Bull" (6.337 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.609 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) served up new episodes of "The Resident" (5.416 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "The Passage" (3.802 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

And finally, The CW (1.011 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening with originals from "Arrow" (1.073 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and "Black Lightning" (0.950 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.4/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/3.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/5/18):

ABC (7.671 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) continued its demo reign on Monday with new episodes from "The Bachelor" (6.751 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "The Good Doctor" (9.509 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2).

Second place then went to NBC (4.852 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) with its mix of "The Wall" (6.679 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3), "Better Late Than Never" (5.292 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5) and the special "The Best of U.S. - The 2018 Winter Olympics" (2.585 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

Sharing the silver was FOX (4.274 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) with originals from "Lucifer" (3.735 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "The Resident" (4.813 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6).

Next up was CBS (5.791 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) and its lineup of "Kevin Can Wait" (6.902 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4), "Man with a Plan" (6.360 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), "Superior Donuts" (5.614 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), the season finale of "9JKL" (4.849 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10) and "Scorpion" (5.511 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11).

And finally, the winter finale of "Supergirl" (2.123 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) as well as repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.007 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and a second "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
