Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Charts in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/11/18):

CBS (6.944 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) took home top honors on Friday thanks to the return of "Undercover Boss" (5.038 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), a new "Hawaii Five-0" (7.049 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1) and the season finale of "Blue Bloods" (8.744 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1).

NBC (3.705 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was the silver draw with originals from "Blindspot" (2.791 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "Dateline NBC" (4.161 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3).

Next up was FOX (3.660 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) and its special "Meghan Markle: An American Princess" (3.660 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.234 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Once Upon a Time" (2.314 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6), "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (1.938 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "20/20" (2.450 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

And finally, the season finale of "Dynasty" (0.578 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) and a new "Life Sentence" (0.376 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) on The CW (0.477 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) rounded out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (6.144 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1) was the top overall draw on Friday as fresh installments of "Undercover Boss" (5.514 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) and "48 Hours: NCIS" (5.028 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) bookended the season finale of "Hawaii Five-0" (7.891 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1).

NBC (3.842 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with new episodes from "First Dates" (3.333 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) and "Dateline NBC" (4.097 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3).

Next up was ABC (3.212 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and a new "The Toy Box" (2.432 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #8), the season finale of "Shark Tank" (3.915 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and a new "20/20" (3.291 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.356 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) opted for repeats of "Lucifer" (1.348 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Lethal Weapon" (1.364 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

And finally, new episodes of "The Originals" (1.237 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9) and "Reign" (1.104 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) rounded out the night on The CW (1.170 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).
