Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "9-1-1" Hold Onto Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/24/18):

FOX (5.146 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) took home the demo honors on Wednesday with new episodes of "The X-Files" (3.862 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "9-1-1" (6.430 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

Second place then went to CBS (5.835 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) with new episodes of "The Amazing Race 30" (6.707 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4), another "The Amazing Race 30" (5.574 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "Criminal Minds" (5.227 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9).

Sharing the silver was ABC (4.364 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) and its mix of "The Goldbergs" (6.061 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1), "American Housewife" (5.323 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3), a repeat "Modern Family" (4.160 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), a second "American Housewife" (4.164 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "Match Game" (3.240 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #13).

Meanwhile, NBC (4.789 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up repeats of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.802 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9), another "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.513 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12) and "Chicago PD" (5.053 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9).

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
