Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: World Series Opens on Top for FOX in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/24/17):

FOX (10.933 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) pulled into the top demo spot on Tuesday with its coverage of the "World Series, Game 1" (10.933 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1).

NBC (8.267 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then had to settle for second place with its trio of "The Voice" (9.521 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3), "This Is Us" (10.474 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) and "Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders" (4.808 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7).

Next up was CBS (11.074 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with originals from "NCIS" (13.094 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4), "Bull" (10.635 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.492 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.777 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up new episodes of "The Middle" (5.787 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5), "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.195 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), "Black-ish" (3.981 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7), "The Mayor" (2.961 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12) and "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World" (2.869 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #13).

And finally, fresh installments of "The Flash" (2.574 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.467 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14) rounded out the night for The CW (2.020 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
