Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "Sunday Night Football" Top Competition

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (9/24/17):

NBC (13.562 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.9, #1) held off the competition on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (6.776 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.9, #8), "Football Night in America #2" (8.909 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.0, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (13.341 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.9, #4) and "Sunday Night Football" (14.537 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 5.3, #2).

Second place then went to CBS (11.787 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) and its "NFL Overrun" (21.176 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.9, #1) followed by (half-hour results only) "NFL Overrun/60 Minutes" (20.028 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.1, #3), "60 Minutes" (14.651 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #6), "60 Minutes/Star Trek: Discovery" (12.384 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.3, #7), "Star Trek: Discovery" (8.835 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.7, #9), "Star Trek: Discovery/NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.548 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #10), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (4.991 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) and "NCIS: Los Angeles/Madam Secretary" (4.680 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14).

Next up was FOX (2.555 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with repeats of "The Simpsons" (2.143 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) and another "The Simpsons" (1.837 million viewers, #19; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) followed by the special "Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?" (2.838 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11).

And finally, a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.477 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) and a new "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.123 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #12) led into the season finales of "Steve Harvey's Funderdome" (3.898 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.8, #13) and "$100,000 Pyramid" (3.766 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #19) on ABC (4.316 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4).

CBS (12.976 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) then was the number two draw with a full hour of "NFL Overrun" (19.525 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.4, #2) followed by the season premieres of "60 Minutes" (13.501 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.3, #5) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (10.251 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #8) plus a second "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.628 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10).

Next up was FOX (2.919 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with a repeat "Family Guy" (2.946 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.1, #14) alongside the return of "Bob's Burgers" (2.984 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10), "The Simpsons" (3.672 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.6, #7), "Son of Zorn" (2.821 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T12), "Family Guy" (2.887 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.4, #9) and "The Last Man on Earth" (2.205 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.9, #17).
