Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/31/17):
FOX (3.448 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday with the summer premieres of "MasterChef" (3.522 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and "The F Word with Gordon Ramsay" (3.375 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).
NBC (4.736 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then was the silver draw with the relocated "Little Big Shots" (7.556 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1), the season premiere of "The Carmichael Show" (4.263 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4), another "The Carmichael Show" (3.483 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) and a repeat "This Is Us" (2.780 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).
Next up was CBS (4.722 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with repeats of "NCIS: Los Angeles" (4.948 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13), "Criminal Minds" (5.003 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and "Code Black" (4.215 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (5.809 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) climbed into the top spot on Wednesday with the return of "American Ninja Warrior" (6.268 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "The Night Shift" (4.893 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2).
FOX (3.225 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then took home the silver with the season premiere of "MasterChef" (3.763 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) followed by a new "Wayward Pines" (2.687 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).
