NICKELODEON'S "PAW PATROL" IS ON A ROLL WITH RECORD-SETTING MISSION PAW SPECIAL
NEW YORK--April 11, 2017 - Nickelodeon's top-rated PAW Patrol continues to set ratings records with its recent special "Mission PAW: Quest for the Crown" (Friday, March 24, at 12 p.m. ET/PT), which hit a series high delivering 18.9/2.0 million Kids 2-5 and drawing 4.2 million total viewers P2+ in Live+7. PAW Patrol ranked as the number-one preschool show with Kids 2-5 on all TV for 1Q17.
PAW Patrol "Mission PAW: Quest for the Crown" was the first of three episodes this season that follows the heroic pack of pups as they are called on to participate in rescue missions in the kingdom of Barkingburg where a mischievous little pup Sweetie schemes to become Queen. The second episode, "Mission PAW: Royally Spooked!" will premiere Friday, April 14, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT). PAW Patrol is currently in its fourth season and new episodes will continue to rollout into 2018.
For 1Q17, Nickelodeon had four out of the top five shows with Kids 2-5--#1 PAW Patrol, #2 Shimmer and Shine, #4 Team Umizoomi and #5 Blaze and the Monster Machines. Nick's performance marked growth over last year, bringing its winning streak to seven straight quarters with Kids 2-5. Overall, Nickelodeon has been the number-one kids' network for the last three years with preschoolers.
