Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/7/17):
CBS (8.351 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) edged out the competition on Friday with new episodes from "MacGyver" (6.669 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4), "Hawaii Five-0" (8.731 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (9.654 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2).
ABC (4.338 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was a close second with the launch of "The Toy Box" (4.080 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5) followed by new episodes of "Shark Tank" (4.764 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) and "20/20" (4.170 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5).
Next up was NBC (3.946 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and the debut of "First Dates" (3.770 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5) alongside a two-hour "Dateline NBC" (4.035 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5).
