WORLD SERIES GAME 4 DELIVERS BEST SATURDAY NIGHT METERED MARKET RATING SINCE 2009
Chicago, IL - Starting pitcher Corey Kluber gave Cleveland the dominating start they needed as the Indians cruised to victory over the Chicago Cubs in World Series Game 4 and took a commanding 3-1 series lead. Saturday night's World Series Game 4 delivered a 10.5/19 overnight rating/share according to Nielsen Media Research, its best Saturday night World Series rating since 2009's 10.8/20, for New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies.
World Series Game 4 is up +13% over last year (vs. 9.3/17; Kansas City Royals vs. New York Mets) and up +48% over 2014 (vs. 7.1/13; Kansas City Royals vs. San Francisco Giants). Last night's game averaged a 10.5/19 in primetime (8:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET) powering FOX to a first place finish in primetime among the metered markets.
Cleveland led all markets by delivering a 39.8/62 overnight rating/share with Chicago posting a 30.1/52.
Fast Nationals have been ordered for last night's Game 4 and will be made available later today.

FOX, FOX DEPORTES, FOX SPORTS GO COMBINE TO DELIVER 17 MILLION VIEWERS FOR WORLD SERIES GAME 4
Chicago, IL - Between FOX, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports GO, World Series Game 4 delivered 17 million viewers, according to fast national figures released by Nielsen Media Research and streaming figures from Adobe Analytics. Saturday night's 7-2 victory by the Cleveland Indians over the Chicago Cubs scored a 9.3/18 fast national rating/share with 16.7 million viewers for FOX, up +19% (vs. 7.8/15) and up +23% (vs. 13.6 million viewers) over last year's World Series Game 4 for the Kansas City Royals vs. the New York Mets.
Last night's telecast is the most-watched World Series Game airing on a Saturday since 2004's St. Louis Cardinals vs. Boston Red Sox matchup (23.2 million viewers) and is the most-watched World Series Game 4 since 2009's New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies matchup (22.8 million viewers), which aired on a Sunday night. Last night's 9.3/18 is up +48% over 2014's World Series Game 4 between the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants (vs. 6.3/12).
FOX continues to see gains in male demos this World Series with Saturday night's game up over last year in M12-17 (+92%; 2.5 vs. 1.3), M18-34 (+37%; 3.7 vs. 2.7), M18-49 (+24%; 5.1 vs. 4.1), and M25-54 (+21%; 6.3 vs. 5.2). In A18-49, last night's Game 4 is up +24% compared to last year (4.2 vs. 3.4).
Through Game 4, the 2016 World Series on FOX is averaging a 10.5/19 with 18.2 million viewers which ranks as the highest-rated and most-watched World Series through the first four games since 2009's 19.1 million viewers (11.6/19). Additionally, FOX's four game household rating/share average is up +27% over last year (vs. 8.3/15). Opposite entertainment programs in primetime, the 2016 World Series ranks as the No. 1 program in all of television.
World Series Game 4 on FOX Deportes averaged 212,000 viewers. FOX Sports Go added an average minute audience of 88,000 for last night's telecast.
