NBC ties for the nightlong win among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and ranks #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in every key demographic.
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 1.2 in adults 25-54, 3.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
· Ranks #1 or tied for #1 in the time period among those nets in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - Friday's "Dateline NBC" has grown by +32% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.99 to a 1.31) and more than +1.1 million viewers overall (4.7 million to 5.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.8/4 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Ranks #2 in the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49.
· Scored NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding Olympics, since July 22 (0.8).
· For its second hour from 9-10 p.m., ranks #1 among those nets in every key demographic (including a tie in women 25-54).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2, with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
