Science Channel Delivers Highest Rated and Most Watched April Among Total Viewers and Key Demos

SCIENCE CHANNEL DELIVERS HIGHEST RATED AND MOST WATCHED APRIL AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS

-Science Channel up +13% in Total Viewers, +12% in Persons 25-54, +14% in Men 25-54 and +17% in Women 25-54 in April-

Science Channel continued its ratings successes into 2Q16 by setting an all-new Primetime records for its highest rated and most watched April ever among Adults 25-54, Men 25-54/18-49, Women 25-54 and Total Viewers P2+, no exclusions, in L+3.

Science Channel's Prime Time double-digit ratings growth was balanced between both Men and Women, up +14% among Men 25-54 and up +17% among Women 25-54, in addition to being up +12% among Adults 25-54 and up +13% in Total Viewers P2+ for the month vs. April 2015. During April Primetime, Science Channel broke into the Top 30 for Men 25-54 in ratings (#28 tie) among all ad-supported cable networks.

April programming highlights included NASA's UNEXPLAINED FILES on March 29 breaking into the network's Top 10 most watched telecasts of all time (#10) averaging 851,000 Total Viewers P2+, with the full third season of the series averaging 712,000 Total Viewers P2+ (+93% above Science Channel's Primetime average) and 301,000 Adults 25-54 (up +87%). Additionally, across six episodes, the second season of IMPOSSIBLE ENGINEERING averaged 490,000 Total Viewers P2+ (up+33% above Science Channel's Primetime average) and 128,000 among Men 25-54 (up +26%). The April 6 episode of the series achieved a series high rating among both Adults 25-54 and Men 25-54.
