"GRIMM" RETAINS 100% OF LAST WEEK'S 0.9 IN FAST-AFFILIATE RATINGS, "DATELINE" AND "CAUGHT ON CAMERA" ALSO MAINTAIN 100%
THIS SEASON, "GRIMM" IS AVERAGING A +92% LIFT GOING FROM L+SD TO L+7
Friday Primetime Results:
"Grimm" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Maintains 100% of last week's 0.9 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 and 90% of last week's 1.0 in official nationals, which was the show's highest adult 18-49 rating since Nov. 6 (1.0 with the second "Grimm" of the season).
· Grows +8% week to week in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. last week's 1.3 in official nationals).
· Maintains a 0.9 rating or higher in adults 18-49 for a fifth consecutive telecast.
· Builds on its lead-in by +29% in adults 18-49 and +19% in total viewers.
· Will increase dramatically from these numbers via time-shifting:
· L+7: "Grimm" has increased by +92% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.91 to a 1.75) and more than 2.4 million viewers overall (3.9 million to 6.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· The prior "Grimm" on Feb. 19 grew by +73% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.95 to 1.64) and 2.1 million persons in total viewers (4.3 million vs. 6.4 million).
· The +73% lift was the biggest of the night on the Big 4 and elevated "Grimm" to a tie for the #1 rating of the night with CBS's "Amazing Race," after "Grimm" ranked #4 for the night in L+SD. The L+3 total-viewer increase of 2.1 million was also #1 for the night.
· Upscale: "Grimm" is capturing a strong upscale audience this season, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3).
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Retains 100% of its adult 18-49 rating week to week (0.9 vs. 0.9).
· Maintains 100% of its adult 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour (0.9 vs. 0.9) and grows +8% in adults 25-54 (1.3 to 1.4) and +22% in men 25-54 (0.9 to 1.1).
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- The prior week's "Dateline" increased by +38% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.91 to 1.26) and 1.2 million persons in total viewers (4.7 million to 5.9 million).
· Upscale: "Dateline" delivers a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 110 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes. The previous week's Friday "Datleine" generated the night's most educated audience on the Big 4, indexing at a 112 among adults 18-49 with four or more years of college..
"Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Retains 100% of its 0.7 for its prior original on Feb. 26 in adults 18-49 and grows 0.1 of a point or +20% in men 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5) and 0.1 of a point or +33% in adults 18-34 (0.4 vs. 0.3).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.2/5 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/3 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
