ABC emerged as Thursday's #1 network among Adults 18-49 (3.3 rating) in the L+3 numbers, moving out of a tie with Fox in L+SD to dominate by 32% (2.5 rating) in L+3, while also increasing its lead over CBS (2.6 rating) to 27% versus 11% in L+SD.
ABC's TGIT dramas ranked among the night's Top 5 gainers in TV playback with Adults 18-49: How to Get Away with Murder (+1.4 rating points) - #2, Scandal (+1.2 rating points) - #3 (tie) and Grey's Anatomy (+1.0 rating points) - #5. In fact, ABC's HTGAWM (+1.4 rating points) delivered substantially larger L+3 gains than its 10pm drama competitors on NBC (Shades of Blue +0.9 rating points) and CBS (Elementary +0.7 rating points) among young adults.
ABC claimed 3 of the night's Top 4 TV programs among Adults 18-49, with Grey's Anatomy (3.4 rating) and Scandal (3.3 rating) remaining in the #2 and #3 spots, respectively, while How to Get Away with Murder (3.2 rating) moved ahead of Fox's American Idol (2.5 rating) and CBS' Life in Pieces (2.6 rating) to rank #4.
