"BRIDESMAIDS" IS THE NIGHT'S TOP BIG 4 ENTERTAINMENT TELECAST THAT DID NOT BENEFIT FROM AN NFL LEAD-IN
FROM ITS FIRST HALF-HOUR TO ITS LAST, "BRIDESMAIDS" DOUBLES ITS 18-49 RATING
Sunday Primetime Results:
A rebroadcast of the 2011 feature film "Bridesmaid" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall from 8-11 p.m. ET):
· Was the night's top entertainment telecast on the Big 4 networks that did not benefit from an NFL lead-in in 18-49 (excludes CBS's "60 Minutes" and Fox's "X-Files" premiere).
· Was also the #1 entertainment telecast on those networks, excluding shows with NFL lead-ins, in adults 18-34, women 18-34, men 18-34 (tie), women 18-49, men 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54 (tie) and women 25-54.
· Grew +100% from its first half-hour to its sixth in 18-49 (0.6 to 1.2) and by +61% or 1.4 million persons in total viewers (2.3 million to 3.7 million).
"Dateline NBC" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 7-8 p.m. ET):
· Facing competition from Fox's telecast of the NFC Championship Game, maintained 100% of the prior week's 7-8 p.m. ratings in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.6) and adults 25-54 (0.9 vs. 0.9).
