Discovery Delivers Double Digit Gains in Women for the Month
Discovery Channel delivered its most watched November in Total Viewers P2+ in Nov. 2015, up +6% vs. Nov. 2014 in L+3. The network also delivered double digit gains in Women while GOLD RUSH ranked as the #1 unscripted series among Men 18-34 in All of TV and was cable's #1 unscripted series across key demos and Total Viewers.
Discovery Channel set Nov. viewership records averaging 1.58 million Total Viewers P2+ for the month, up +6% vs. Nov. 2014. The network also delivered double digit increases in ratings in Women 25-54 (+15%), Women 18-49 (+10%) and Women 18-34 (+19%) vs. Nov. 2014, while Adults 25-54 for the month increased +3% vs. Nov 2014.
GOLD RUSH was #1 on all of TV in Men 18-34 for the month (1.98 rating) and was cable's #1 unscripted series in Total Viewers P2+ in Nov. (5.06m). The series was also #1 on cable among Persons 25-54, Men 25-54, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 for the month. Discovery also had six of the Top 10 unscripted series in Men 25-54 for the month, including ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE (#2), STREET OUTLAWS (#3), MOONSHINERS (#5), ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER (#6) and NAKED AND AFRAID (#10).
