Monday Primetime Results (Note that NBC carried NFL football in the Cincinnati market and CW carried the game in Houston):
NBC ranks #1 for Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics, with "The Voice" and "Blindspot" dominating six of six half-hours among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and ranking as the #1 and #2 shows of the night on those nets.
It's the 16th Monday in a row that NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.
"Blindspot" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Is currently delivering five-week highs in 18-49and total viewers (best since Oct. 12, 2.5 in 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall), pending updates.
· Is close to rounding up to a 2.4 (currently reporting a 2.345).
· Is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, as well as #1 scripted series and the #1 first-year series.
· Currently ranks #1 in the slot among the ABC , CBS and NBC in every key measure, pending updates.
· Equals its ABC-CBS competition combined in 18-49 (2.3 vs. a combined 2.3).
· Wins the hour by a +92% margin among ABC, CBS and NBC (2.3 vs. 1.2 for CBS's "NCIS: LA).
· Is up +44% versus NBC's average in the slot last season in 18-49 (2.3 vs. 1.6).
· In nine weeks, has delivered NBC's nine highest ratings in the slot, excluding sports, in the past year (since Nov. 17, 2014, 2.2 with "The Blacklist").
· "Blindspot" delivers heavy time-shifting and VOD viewership. Last week's "Blindspot":
· Grew by +68% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 ratings (2.19 to 3.68) and by more than 4.3 million viewers overall (7.7 million to 12.0 million), to generate the #1 increases of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers (+4.361 million).
· Retained 99% of the prior week's total-viewer lift (4.361 million vs. 4.392 million), which has been the biggest L+3 lift for any broadcast program since the Oct. 19 telecast of "Blindspot" (+4.402 million)
· Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 124 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3). Last week's telecast was the night's most upscale scripted show on the Big 4 (103 index, L+SD).
"The Voice" (3.1/9 in 18-49, 11.5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Is currently up +7% versus the comparable telecast in the spring (3.1 vs. 2.9 for the second Monday live telecast of the Spring on April 13) and +5% in total viewers (11.533 million vs. 11.035 million), pending updates.
· Is the #1 program of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and most other key demos.
· Is currently retaining 97% of last week's rating in 18-49 (3.1 vs. 3.2), pending updates.
· Wins the time period among the Big 4 in every key demo.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" increased by +22% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" Nielsens (from a 3.23 rating to a 3.93) and by 2.0 viewers overall (from 12.0 million to 14.0 million).
· Upscale: Monday's "Voice" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 115 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes). The prior week's telecast was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4 (107 index, L+SD).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.6/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
