Thursday Primetime Results:
The NBC specials "Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood" and "Mat Franco's Got Magic" are the #1-2 non-sports telecasts of the night on the Big 4 in every key measure.
The specials matched NBC's top Thursday average of the summer, excluding sports, in 18-49 (1.1 from 8-11 p.m. ET), and in total viewers (5.2 million viewers overall), set a Thursday non-sports high for NBC since May 28.
· "Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked as the time period's top non-sports program on the Big 4 in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. The 1.2 is NBC's highest rating in the time period, excluding sports, since June 25 (1.3 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall for "Dateline Mystery").
· "Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood" finished as the night's #1 non-sports telecast on the Big 4 networks or tied for #1 in all key categories.
· "Mat Franco's Got Magic" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) ranked as the two-hour time slot's #1 non-sports program on the Big 4 in every key measure. .
· "Mat Franco's Got Magic," starring the 2014 winner of "America's Got Talent," ranked as the night's #2 non-sports program on the Big 4 or tied for #1 in all key categories.
NBC ranked #2 for the night among the Big 4 networks in all key measures and was #1 among those nets excluding sports.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/8, delayed by an NFL overrun; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.9/6, delayed by an NFL overrun; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.4/6, delayed by an NFL overrun). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) trailed "Late Late Show" (0.5/5, delayed by an NFL overrun).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
