ABC's Extreme Weight Loss Gains 17% in AD18-49 - Ties Season Highs in AD18-34 and W18-34

Extreme Weight Loss (9-11pm - 2.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49): From 9-11pm, ABC's Extreme Weight was up week to week by 17% in in Adults 18-49 (0.7/2 vs. 0.6/2). In addition, the ABC unscripted series spiked over the prior week by 25% in Adults 18-34 and by 40% in Women 18-34 to equal season highs on both counts. Extreme Weight Loss built from its first hour to its second hour in both viewers (+24%) and young adults (+17%).

"Extreme Weight Loss" (9:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):

From 9:00-11:00 p.m., ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" was up week to week by 17% in Adults 18-49 (0.7/2 vs. 0.6/2). In addition, the ABC unscripted series spiked over the prior week by 25% in Adults 18-34 and by 40% in Women 18-34 to equal season highs on both counts. "Extreme Weight Loss" built from its first hour to its second hour in both viewers (+24%) and young adults (+17%).

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
