NBC TIES FOR THE NIGHTLONG WIN AMONG THE BIG 4 IN 18-49
Friday Primetime Results:
· "Dateline NBC" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) tied as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and was the night's #1 show outright on those nets in adults 25-54 (1.4). "Dateline NBC" tied for the time period lead among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright among those nets in adults 25-54
· From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline NBC" grew by +11% in adults 18-49 (0.9 to 1.0), +15% in adults 25-54 (1.3 to 1.5) and +22% in men 25-54 (0.9 to 1.1), despite the 10 p.m. hour.
· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.8/4 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults, men and women 18-49. The "Talent" rebroadcast won the slot in men 18-34 and tied for the night's #1 rating on the Big 4 networks in that demo (0.5).
· For the night, NBC tied for #1 among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34 and adults 25-54.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.7/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.2/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
