HGTV's "Flip or Flop" Finishes Highest-Rated Season to Date
Season three of HGTV's Flip or Flop, featuring house flippers Tarek El Moussa, a self-proclaimed "driven real estate genius," and his wife Christina, finished its highest-rated season to date among viewers P25-54. Attracting more than 13.5 million viewers since its premiere on Tuesday, April 7 at 9 p.m., the series grew 9% among viewers P25-54 versus the second season, making it a Top 5 rated program on HGTV in 2Q15. Flip or Flop also attracts one of the most upscale audiences on cable. For the Tuesday 9P-9:30P time period, the series was a Top 5 cable program among upscale W25-54 (HHI $100K+).
Beginning next Tuesday, July 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the El Moussas will star in their new HGTV spin-off series, Flip or Flop Follow-Up. The six-episode series features Tarek and Christina as they reveal what happened behind-the-scenes of their most interesting house flipping experiences from Flip or Flop.
