NBC RATINGS NOTES FOR THURSDAY, MAY 28
· NBC comes in #2 for the night in the 18-49 demo against the Big 4 networks with a 1.1/4.
· NBC is #1 for the night in total viewers with 5.922 million.
· From 8-9 p.m., "Dateline NBC" drew a 1.2/5 in 18-49 and 6.390 million viewers.
· The 1.2 rating for "Dateline" is tied for the #2 rating of the night on the Big 4 and "Dateline" is tied for #1 on those nets in women 18-49 (with a 1.6 rating).
· From 9-11 p.m., the series premiere of "Aquarius" did a 1.0/4 and was #1 in total viewers with 5.688 million.
· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., "Aquarius" ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· "Aquarius" is up versus NBC's prior debut of a Thursday summer drama, "Saving Hope" (0.7 in 18-49, 3.237 million viewers from 10-11 p.m. on Thurs., June 7, 2012). Compared with those results, "Aquarius" is up 0.3 of a point or +43% in 18-49 and +76% in total viewers.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Mentalist" rebroadcast, 1.7/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "The Mentalist" rebroadcast, 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
