Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "MasterChef" Top Tight Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/27/15):

FOX (3.983 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the top draw in a tight demo race on Wednesday thanks to a new "MasterChef" (4.593 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) and the debut of "Bullseye" (3.372 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

CBS (6.343 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then claimed the silver with the launch of "The Briefcase" (6.777 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) followed by repeats of "Criminal Minds" (6.581 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and "CSI: Cyber" (5.671 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Next up was ABC (4.027 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with a new "500 Questions" (4.860 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) alongside repeats of "Modern Family" (4.192 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) and "Black-ish" (3.510 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) plus a new "Celebrity Wife Swap" (3.369 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.785 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up an encore of "I Can Do That!" (3.061 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) and the two-hour special "iHeartRadio Country Festival" (4.147 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

And finally, repeats of "Arrow" (1.042 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and "Supernatural" (0.728 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) on The CW (0.885 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.1 rating while the latter posted a 0.2 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/3 with an encore; "The Mentalist" rebroadcast, 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

FOX (5.300 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday thanks to the return of "So You Think You Can Dance" (5.300 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1).

NBC (4.665 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then claimed the silver with a rebroadcast of "Last Comic Standing" (4.041 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) followed by "Inside the Mind of Edward Snowden - An NBC News Exclusive with Brian Williams" (5.912 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2).

Next up was CBS (6.327 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) and its all-repeat lineup of "Hawaii Five-0" (5.692 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11), "Criminal Minds" (7.151 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (6.139 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).
