"Dateline NBC" Sunday Up 33% in Adults 25-54 and Up 38% in Total Viewers
Below please find "Dateline NBC" ratings highlights from Andrea Canning's report that aired on Sunday at 7p/6c:
· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) grew +25 versus last week's 0.8 for a 7-8 p.m. telecast in adults 18-49, and was up +33% in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.2) and up +38% in total viewers (6.008 million vs. 4.339 million). And note that "Dateline" is close to rounding up to a 1.1 in adults 18-49, currently reporting a 1.048. Andrea Canning's "Dateline NBC" report, "The Carrollton Plot," focused on a churchgoing wife and mother, Nancy Howard, who was accosted at her home and shot in the head. When she miraculously survived and called 911, the mystery just got started.
· "Dateline NBC" doubled its rating from its first half-hour to its fourth (0.7 to 1.4), grew by +91% in adults 25-54 (1.1 to 2.1) and increased by +74% or more than 3.2 million persons in total viewers (4.5 million to 7.7 million). "Dateline" ranked #1 for its second hour from 8-9 p.m. in adults 25-54 among the Big 4 networks with a 2.0 rating.
