Modern Family was Wednesday's #1 TV show in Adults 18-49, while black-ish and The Goldbergs tied at #3, behind only CBS' Survivor. ABC was up from the year-ago night with an original schedule by 15% in Total Viewers and by 6% in Adults 18-49.

The Middle (8-8:30pm - 7.7 million and 1.8/6 in AD18-49): At 8pm against Survivor, The Middle beat Idol for the 5th week running in the half-hour among Adults 18-49 (+20 - 1.8/6 vs. 1.5/6). The Goldbergs (8:30-9pm - 7.1 million and 2.1/7 in AD18-49): Building on its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 8:30pm (+17%), The Goldbergs outdelivered Idol in the slot for its 6th straight original (+40% - 2.1/7 vs. 1.5/5). The Goldbergs was up week to week in Total Viewers (+3%) and even in Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating, pulling its largest audience in 3 week - since 4/1/15.
