'GRIMM' WINS 8 P.M. HOUR AMONG THE BIG 4 IN WOMEN 18-49 AND WOMEN 25-54 AND IS #1 NON-SPORTS IN ADULTS 18-49
Friday Primetime Results:
· "Grimm" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently reporting its biggest overall audience since Jan. 23 (5.024 million). Week to week, "Grimm" is up +3% in total viewers (4.9 million vs. 4.8 million), pending updates.
· "Grimm" won the time period among the Big 4 networks in women 18-49 (with a 1.4 rating) and women 25-54 (2.0) and was the #1 non-sports program on those nets in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.
· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting -- "Grimm" first-runs are growing by +86% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.23 to a 2.29) and more than 2.7 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 7.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7. "Grimm" is this season's #1 Friday scripted series on the Big 4 in "most current" ratings averages in 18-49.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) tied for the time period lead among the Big 4 nets in women 18-49 (with a 1.4 rating) and was #1 outright among those nets in women 25-54 (2.0).
· L+7: Friday's "Dateline" is increasing by +24% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.24 to a 1.54) and 941,000 viewers overall (6.2 million to 7.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
For the night, NBC is #1 among the Big 4 networks in women 18-49 (1.4) and women 25-54 (2.0) and tied for #1 excluding sports in adults 18-49 (1.0).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.6/5 with an encore delayed by basketball; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore delayed by basketball; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore delayed by basketball). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show with James Corden " (0.3/2 with an encore delayed by basketball).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.
