Saturday Primetime Results:
NBC won Saturday primetime among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 (with an average 0.8 rating) and adults 25-54 (1.1) and tied for #1 among those nets in adults 18-34 (0.5).
· "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) won its two-hour time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 or tied for #1 in the time period among those nets in every key measure. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline Mystery" grew by +50% in adults 18-49 (from a 0.6 rating to a 0.9), +44% in adults 25-54 (0.9 to 1.3) and +36% or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (3.7 million to 5.0 million). "Dateline Mystery" increased its rating during each succeeding half-hour in all three measures.
· "SNL Vintage" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET, with an encore of the May 18, 1996 telecast of "Saturday night Live" with host Jim Carrey and musical guest Soundgarden) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, tied for #1 in adults 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 and was #1 outright among those networks in men 18-34.
· "SNL Vintage" was the night's #1 telecast on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34 (with a 0.5 rating).
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host J.K. Simmons and musical guest D'Angelo and The Vanguard, averaged a 2.9 rating, 7 share in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 1.2/6 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters,
· "SNL" is the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime programs on those nets in that key measure.
