Friday Primetime Results:
· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the night's #1 newsmagazine in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (1.3) and total viewers. In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Dateline" outdelivered ABC's "20/20" in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by +18% in adults 18-49 (1.1 to 1.3), +29% in adults 25-54 (1.4 to 1.8) and 23% or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (4.9 million to 6.0 million).
· L+3: The prior week's "Dateline" on March 6 grew by +21% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.34 to a 1.62) and 918,000 viewers overall (6.5 million to 7.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· A rebroadcast of "Grimm" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently the most-watched "Grimm" encore since Sept. 28, 2012 (2.8 million from 8-9 p.m. leading into that season's Friday premiere), pending updates.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
