"DATELINE NBC" MATCHES ITS HIGH FRIDAY 18-49 RATING SINCE NOV. 21
"DATELINE" TIES FOR #1 FROM 9-11 P.M.
Friday Primetime Results:
· "Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) reported its highest Friday adults 18-49 rating and top Friday adult 25-54 result (1.9) since Jan. 23 (1.3 in 18-49, 1.9 in 25-54 from 10-11 p.m.) and equaled its Friday highs since Nov. 21, 2014 (1.5 in 18-49, 2.0 in 25-54 from 8-9 p.m.).
· It's also the most-watched Friday "Dateline" since Dec. 19 (6.8 million from 9-11 p.m.).
· "Dateline NBC" tied for the time period win in adults 18-49 (1.3 from 9-11 p.m., tied with CBS). "Dateline" grew versus last week by +8% in adults 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.2) and is up versus the telecast before that by +30% (1.3 vs. 1.0 from 10-11 p.m. on Feb. 13).
· L+3: The prior week's "Dateline" on Feb. 27 grew by +22% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.22 to a 1.49) and 948,000 viewers overall (6.3 million to 7.3 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· An encore telecast of "Law & Order: SVU" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) increased its rating from its first half-hour to its second in every key measure. The "SVU" encore grew half-hour to half-hour by +17% in adults 18-49 (0.6 to 0.7), +13% in total viewers (3.9 million to 4.4 million), +22% in adults 25-54 (0.9 to 1.1) and +18% in women 25-54 (1.1 to 1.3).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
