'SNL VINTAGE' GRABS SEASON HIGHS IN 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS
NBC RANKS #1 IN SATURDAY PRIME AMONG THE BIG 4 IN 18-49
Saturday Primetime Results:
· "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) set a series record among its 26 telecasts this season and last in total viewers and delivered the show's #2 18-49 rating ever, trailing only the Jan. 10 edition (1.2) that was boosted by a lead-in from an NFL playoff telecast.
· "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" tied for the #1 rating of the night in 18-49 (with CBS's 10-11 p.m. "48 Hours") and ranked #1 in the time period among the Big 4 nets in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers.
· From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" grew by +75% in adult 18-49 rating (0.8 to 1.4), +73% in adults 25-54 (1.1 to 1.9) and +50% or 2.3 million persons in total viewers (4.6 million to 6.9 million).
· Versus its prior telecast on Jan. 17, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" is up +71% in adult 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 0.5) and up +33% or 1.4 million persons in total viewers (5.795 million vs. 4.349 million).
· "SNL Vintage" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET with an encore of a Oct. 27, 1990 telecast hosted by Patrick Swayze with musical guest Mariah Carey) set season highs in 18-49 and total viewers for these 10 p.m. "SNL" encores.
· It's also the most-watched among 53 "SNL" Saturday 10 p.m. encores over the past three seasons.
· Versus its prior telecast on Jan. 17, "SNL Vintage" is up +25% in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.8) and up +19% in total viewers (4.080 million vs. 3.426 million).
· NBC finished #1 in primetime Saturday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49.
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Amy Adams and musical guest One Direction, averaged a 3.1 rating, 8 share in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 1.3/6 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, making it the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime programs on the Big 4 networks in that key measure.
· In metered-market households, it's the #3 "SNL" encore since last March, trailing over that span only the Jan. 3 post-NFL rebroadcast (3.6/10 with host Woody Harrelson and musical guest Kendrick Lamar) and the Jan. 10 encore (3.3/8 with host Jim Carrey and musical guest Iggy Azalea)..
