Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/3/15):
CBS (14.727 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) was the network to beat on Tuesday thanks to the return of "NCIS" (18.615 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1), "NCIS: New Orleans" (16.379 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) and "Person of Interest" (9.186 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6).
ABC (5.246 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2) then claimed the silver with a special "Shark Tank" (7.110 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3) followed by new episodes of "Marvel's Agent Carter" (4.253 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T8) and "Forever" (4.375 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13).
Next up was FOX (3.758 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2) with originals from "MasterChef Junior" (4.892 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4), "New Girl" (2.987 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) and "The Mindy Project" (2.262 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).

In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "The Flash" posted a 1.0 rating while "Supernatural" delivered a 0.8 rating.

For a second night in a row, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has delivered ratings highs with special telecasts from Los Angeles.
· Last night's " Tonight Show" delivered the show's highest metered-market household result (3.6 rating, 9 share) for a Tuesday telecast in nearly a year (since Feb. 25, 2014, during Fallon's second week as host, 4.0/10).
· It was also the third highest rating ever for a Fallon-hosted Tuesday "Tonight" in metered-market households.
· In Nielsen's 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's 1.5/7 matches the show's Tuesday high since Feb. 25 (1.7/8) and equals Fallon's third-highest Tuesday "Tonight" rating ever.
· Tuesday's guests included, Ellen DeGeneres and Neil Young, with Doc Severinsen sitting in with The Roots.
· On Monday, "Tonight" matched its highest Monday rating in metered-market households (3.1) in four months (since Sept. 29, 2014) and equaled "Tonight's" highest 18-49 rating in the markets with Local People Meters (1.3) for a Monday telecast in 10 months (since March 24, 2014).
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.6/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.5/7; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (6.675 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then claimed the silver with its special "Winter Gold, Presented by Chevrolet: NBC's First Look at the Sochi Olympics Broadcast" (5.266 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) followed by the two-hour season finale of "The Biggest Loser 15" (7.380 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3).

In late-night metered market ratings (via NBC's press release):
·Last night's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" delivered the show's highest overnight rating for any night of the week in nearly four years, since the first week of Jay's return in March 2010. For Jimmy Fallon, it was his top Tuesday in metered-market household ratings since June 2009, and matched Jimmy's top-rated Tuesday ever.
·Leno scored a 4.2 rating, 10 share in metered-market households, "Tonight's" strongest local-market rating for any night of the week since Wednesday, March 3, 2010 (4.2/11). It was the highest Tuesday "Tonight" since March 2, 2010 (4.6/12).
·Fallon delivered a 2.1/7 in households, his highest rating for a Tuesday since June 2, 2009 (2.1/7), during the week Conan O'Brien took over "The Tonight Show." The 2.1 matches Fallon's all-time Tuesday high.
·Guests on "Tonight" Tuesday night included Matthew McConaughey, Charles Barkley and musical guest Lyle Lovett
·The Feb. 4 edition of "Late Night" presented "The Best of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon: Digital Originals."
