Friday Primetime Results:
· "Grimm" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) is currently retaining 92% of last week's 1.3 rating in adults 18-49, which matched the show's highest result since its Oct. 24 season debut (1.4). Note that "Grimm" is close to rounding up to a 1.3 (its current unrounded rating is a 1.247).
· In adults 18-34, "Grimm" grew week to week by +33% (0.6 to 0.8), while also increasing by +15% in women 18-34 (0.8 to 0.9) and +40% in men 18-34 (0.5 to 0.7).
· Half-hour to half-hour, "Grimm" grew by +8% in adults 18-49 (1.2 to 1.3) and +15% in women 18-49 (1.3 to 1.5).
· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, last week increasing by +72% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.25 to a 2.15) and more than 2.3 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 7.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by +20% in adults 18-34, (0.5 to 0.6), +17% in women 18-34 (0.6 to 0.7) and +25% in men 18-34 (0.4 to 0.5). Half-hour to half-hour, "Dateline" grew by +9% in adults 18-49 (1.1 to 1.2) and +14% in women 18-49 (1.4 to 1.6), despite the 10 p.m. hour.
· The prior week's "Dateline" on Jan. 23 grew by +27% or 0.35 of a point in 18-49 rating (from a 1.32 to a 1.67) and 1.0 million viewers overall (5.7 million to 6.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3. The 0.35 increase in 18-49 was "Dateline's" biggest L+3 gain ever for a Friday telecast.
· "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) retained 95% of last week's 3.468 million in total viewers, the show's biggest overall audience since Nov. 21. "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, last week having increased by +56% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.93 to a 1.42) and 1.1 million viewers overall (3.5 million to 4.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
