"Dancing With the Stars" Scores Season Highs and Is Up Year to Year - "Castle" Draws Biggest Crowd in 1 Year

ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm - 13.5 million and 2.3/6 in AD18-49): Featuring night 1 of the 2-night Dancing finale and Castle, ABC was Monday's most-watched broadcaster for the 5th consecutive week (13.5 million - #1 in all 6 half-hours) and held the #2 position for the 3rd week running in Adults 18-49 (2.3/6 - nearly tying NBC's 2.4/7 for #1). ABC's Dancing was Monday's most-watched entertainment program (14.8 million - 5th straight week) and the #2 show of the night with young adults. In addition, Castle was the night's most-watched scripted TV show and beat NBC's State of Affairs at 10pm in Adults 18-49 by 18%.

Dancing With the Stars (8-10pm - 14.8 million and 2.4/7 in AD18-49): Head to head from 8-10pm, ABC's Dancing with the Stars topped NBC's The Voice for the 5th consecutive week in viewers (by a season-best 4.6 million - 14.8 million vs. 10.2 million) and came within 3-tenths in Adults 18-49 for its closest finish ever with the NBC unscripted series (2.4/7 vs. 2.7/8).
· Building week to week in Total Viewers (+3% - 14.8 million vs. 14.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+4% - 2.4/7 vs. 2.3/6), DWTS scored its most-watched telecast this season and equaled a season-high with young adults. In addition, Dancing grew over its year-ago Monday finale by 9% in Adults 18-49 (14.6 million and 2.2/6 on 11/25/13).
· DWTS was the most social broadcast series on Monday with 270,867 tweets, spiking 241% week to week to a season best.
Castle (10-11pm - 10.9 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): In the 10pm hour, ABC's Castle beat week 2 of NBC's high-profile State of Affairs by 4.6 million viewers (10.9 million vs. 6.3 million) and by 18% in Adults 18-49 (2.0/6 vs. 1.7/5) to rank as the #1 series in its slot.
· Castle grew week to week in viewers (+16% - 10.9 million vs. 9.4 million) and young adults (+11% - 2.0/6 vs. 1.8/5) to hit a new season high in Total Viewers and a best-since-premiere Adult 18-49 number (since 9/29/14). In fact the ABC drama marked its most-watched telecast overall in 1 year - since 11/25/13.
