Paw Patrol is Number-One Series with Kids 2-5
NEW YORK - Nov. 18, 2014 - Nickelodeon marks five straight weeks at the top of basic cable in total day, winning the week (11/10/14-11/16/14) with Kids 2-11 (2.3/704K) and total viewers (1.4M). Nick's performance was fueled by its live-action lineup, which were TV's top three series with kids 6-11 and kids 2-11 this week.
For the third straight week, Nickelodeon nabbed the top spots with kids 6-11, with The Thundermans landing at number-one (6.4/1.2M, up +42% over year ago), followed by Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (6.1/1.1M, up +53%) and Henry Danger (5.8/1.1M, +5%). Among kids 2-11, the top three shows were Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (5.1/1.6M, up +13%), The Thundermans (5.1/1.6M, +2%) and Henry Danger (4.6/1.4M, +7%).
Additionally, Paw Patrol is the week's number-one preschool series, averaging a 6.2/736K with kids 2-5.
Nickelodeon's niche networks, TeenNick and Nicktoons, posted double-digit year-over-year increases with their core demos. TeenNick averaged a 0.4/69K with Teens 12-17, up +33% from last year, while Nicktoons notched increases with Kids 6-11 (0.6/84K, +50%), Boys 6-11 (0.9/58K, +80%) and P2+ (248K, +59%).
