ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm - 11.4 million and 1.8/5 in AD18-49): ABC was the most-watched broadcaster on Monday (11.4 million). For the 2nd week in a row, ABC's Dancing finished as Monday's most-watched entertainment show (13.2 million).
Dancing With the Stars (8-10pm - 13.2 million and 2.1/6 in AD18-49): Head to head from 8-10pm, ABC's Dancing with the Stars drew a larger audience than NBC's The Voice for the 3rd consecutive week (by a best-yet 1.3 million - 13.2 million vs. 11.9 million). DWTS was up week to week in Total Viewers (+5% - 13.2 million vs. 12.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+11% - 2.1/6 vs. 1.9/5) to its top numbers since its season premiere 7 weeks ago - since 9/15/14. In addition, Dancing improved from its year-ago telecast in Adults 18-49 (2.0/5 on 11/4/13).
Countdown to the CMA Awards (10-11pm - 7.7 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): In the 10pm hour, ABC's lead-up special to Wednesday's 48th Annual CMA Awards broadcast, Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs that Changed Country Music with Robin Roberts, spiked over the year-ago special (In the Spotlight on 11/5/13) in Total Viewers (+126% - 7.7 million vs. 3.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (+86% - 1.3/4 vs. 0.7/2).

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 49% currently, from 48% at the same point in 2013. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
