Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/21/14):
FOX (10.679 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) pulled into the top spot on Tuesday thanks to its coverage of the "World Series, Game 1" (10.679 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2).
NBC (8.137 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then had to settle for second place with its mix of "The Voice" (11.498 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1), "Marry Me" (6.071 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5), "About a Boy" (4.888 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Chicago Fire" (7.433 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5).
Next up was CBS (14.001 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) and its lineup of "NCIS" (16.878 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T3), "NCIS: New Orleans" (15.866 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T3) and "Person of Interest" (9.259 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7).
Meanwhile, ABC (4.107 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) offered up originals from "Selfie" (3.811 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #12), "Manhattan Love Story" (2.652 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #14), "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (4.290 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7) and "Forever" (4.800 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11).
And finally, new episodes of "The Flash" (3.381 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Supernatural" (2.100 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #13) on CW (2.741 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5) closed out the night.
In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "The Flash" posted a 1.1 rating while "Supernatural" delivered a 0.8 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's firstrun "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
