Adult Swim Ranks #1 Among Basic Cable Networks for Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-24 & 18-34 for the Second Week Of September

Adult Swim

Adult Swim ranked #1 among basic cable networks for Total Day Delivery of adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 for the second week of September.

Among Adult Swim's original programming, the newest episode premiere of Black Jesus (Thursday, 11 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49, and men 18-24. Also, a new episode of the acquired series Bobs Burgers (Sunday, 9:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34, and grew average delivery of adults 18-34 by 2% and adults 18-34 by 20% vs. the same time period last year.

Saturday night's presentations of Bleach (12 a.m.), Space Dandy (12:30 a.m.) and Naruto: Shippuden (1 a.m.) ranked #1 in their time periods among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 & 18-34. Additionally, One Piece (1:30 a.m.) and Gurren Lagann (2 a.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24. Helsing Ultimate (3 a.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among adults 18-24 & 18-34.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, American Dad, Robot Chicken and Black Jesus - accounted for 21 of the top 50 telecasts of the week on basic cable among adults 18-34, and 23 of the top 50 among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TBS

TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 entertainment network in primetime delivery of adults 18-49 for the week. TBS also came in second behind Adult Swim among entertainment networks with adults 18-34 in primetime.

Tuesday's season finale of Sullivan & Son has brought in more than 2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, a significant boost of +9% over the prior week's episode. The show has also garnered 1.0 million adults 18-49 in Live + 3, a +3% lift over the previous week.

Sullivan & Son and TBS's telecasts of The Big Bang Theory accounted for all of basic cable's Top 25 sitcom telecasts for the week among total viewers, as well as 24 of the Top 25 with adults 18-49.

Cartoon Network

A top network among boy viewers, Cartoon Network this week claimed 19 of the Top 20 Basic Cable Telecasts among targeted boys 6-11.

Across the second week of September 2014, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Total Day Delivery of boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 for Early Prime (6-8 p.m.) Delivery among kids 2-11 & 6-11 and all targeted boys. Total Day delivery grew year-over-year among kids 2-11 by +17% and kids 6-11 also by +17%. Early Prime also increased among kids 2-11 by 10% vs. the same time period last year.

Thursday night once again scored as Cartoon Network's biggest night of the week in Early Prime (6-8 p.m.), ranking #1 on all television among kids/boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. The night also increased average delivery by double digits across the board, ranging between 12% and 70%.

Among the original programming highlights, Teen Titans Go! (6 p.m.) claimed the #1 telecast of the week among boys 6-11, #1 telecast for the day among kids/boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 in its time period among all kids and boy demos.

Similarly, Steven Universe (6:30 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 2-11 on all TV, and #1 for the day among kids/boys 2-11, and #1 in its time period among all targeted kids & boys.

The Amazing World of Gumball (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all targeted kids and boys.

All Thursday night new episode premieres grew by double-digits across all kids and boys 2-11 & 6-11, ranging between 7% and 88% vs. last year's time period.

On other nights of the week (6-8 p.m.), Cartoon Network ranked as the #1 network on all television among kids/boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 on Wednesday Night; #1 among kids 2-11 & 6-11 and all boy demos on Friday night, #1 among kids 9-14 and all boy demos on Tuesday night, and #1 among all targeted boys on Monday night. Both Wednesday and Friday night performances increased average delivery of kids 2-11 & 6-11 and boys 2-11 & 6-11, ranging between 1% and 41%.

Saturday morning programming (7-11 a.m.) earned year-over-year delivery gains across all targeted kids/boys demos, ranging between 3% and 73%. Legends of Chima (7:30 a.m.) and Pokémon the Series XY (8 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective time periods among boys 6-11 & 9-14. Both new episodes grew average delivery of kids 2-11 & 6-11 and targeted boy demos, ranging between 1% and 118%.

TNT

Last Monday's episode of Dallas has drawn more than 2.8 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, an increase of +3% over the prior week's episode. Wednesday's episode of Legends has so far garnered 2.4 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, while Wednesday's episode of Franklin & Bash has drawn 2.2 million viewers in Live + 3. And the two-part Aug. 31 season finale of Falling Skies topped out with 4.1 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery.
