Friday Primetime Results:
NBC is currently #1 for the night among the Big 4 in 18-49, 25-54 and total viewers, with the #1 show of the night on those nets by all three measures, "Dateline NBC," pending updates.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is currently delivering its highest Friday results in more than three months (since May 30. 1.3 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall). The 1.3 in 18-49 also equals "Dateline's" top rating in five months (since March 28, 1.5) , pending updates.
· "Dateline NBC" is currently the #1 Big 4 telecast of the night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (1.7 rating) and total viewers and #1 in the time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers, pending updates.
· The 9-11 p.m. ET telecast of "Dateline NBC" is currently the night's #1 newsmagazine in every key measure versus ABC's "20/20" from 10-11 p.m. and CBS's "48 Hours" from 8-9 p.m., pending updates.
· Week to week, "Dateline" is currently up +44% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 0.9), up +31% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.3) and up +29% in total viewers (6.236 million vs. 4.839 million), pending updates.
· An encore telecast of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently matching the show's highest 18-49 rating among six Friday encores this summer and setting a new high in total viewers, pending updates. In the time period, "Running Wild" is currently tied for #2 in 18-49 among the Big 4 networks.
Note that NBC carried Major League Baseball in the San Francisco market.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
